The Tricerat team recently released v6.1.2 of both ScrewDrivers and Simplify Suite. Both releases come with a robust, new set of features along with several improvements -- all designed to provide a better user experience for our beloved sysadmin. Print Job Audit & Reporting

This mode tracks all print jobs going through a ScrewDrivers print server agent. This allows for reporting of print jobs based on time, user, printer, print server, document name, and originating server. Now you can easily pinpoint where issues may live before getting inundated with support calls.

Additional PCoIP Features

This new version has enhanced client detection for location-based printing with PCoIP clients. Also improvements were made for the redirection of local printers into the VDI space.

The Need for Speed

Several advancements were made to deliver your print jobs even faster. These includes:

• Performance improvement for advanced print features, allowing the native print dialog to launch faster for the user
• A new caching option in the print server to speed up printer creation and reduce print server load in high demand environments
• PDF print speed increases through modification of user process permissions for virtual channels.

Expanded Languages and Fonts
