The Tricerat Team Takes Citrix Synergy 2015!
We're looking back on a few of the highlights that made our trip to Citrix Synergy 2015 our best yet. From riveting keynotes to a handful of celebrity encounters, we're counting down the top five reasons we loved Citrix Synergy 2015.
Top Five Reasons Why the Tricerat Team Loved Citrix Synergy
Reason #5: Building our network - we had the opportunity to perform demos, learn what else is out there and shake a lot of hands. Our printing product Simplify Printing was the star of the expo hall-- especially after Juan Rivera, Citrix's VP of cloud and server engineering mentioned a need for seamless printing in one of his sessions.
Reason #4: Great connections and conversations with partners - Every time we turned around, we saw a familiar face. Joining us at the show were partners like Advantech, Presidio, Hogan Consulting Group, Vology, Applications2U, AEC Group, Accelera, and more. We were even fortunate enough to have Ken R. from Mobile-Flex; hanging out at our booth as our new technology partner.
Reason #3: Giving back - Every year while attending Citrix Synergy, our team takes time to give back to those less fortunate. This year we helped pack brown bag lunches for more than 1,200 low-income, at-risk children throughout the Orlando area through Citrix's Simply Serve program. We also donated unused toiletries at various stations around the conference.
Reason #2: Cool Tech - We are geeks at heart, so announcements about Octoblu and the Workspace Hub were at the top of our list!
Reason #1: Two words. Celebrity sightings - Mark Templeton, Brian Madden, Chris Matthieu...the list goes on! It's one thing to follow these innovators on Twitter and quite another to shake their hands and learn about their process and accomplishments in-person. We also had a handful of fruitful meetings with other Citrix members like Sid Rabindran, the Senior Manager of Citrix Ready and blogger, Divya Saggar, Marketing Manager and Sima Taslimi, Marketing Communications Manager. Look for upcoming partnerships as a result of these meetings!
Needless to say, we're already counting down the days until next year's conference. Thanks to Citrix for putting on such a great show, we'll see you again next year!
